Sake for Meji

At the shrine in Tokyo dedicated to former emperor, now Kami Meji (and one of the largest shrines in Japan) these barrels of sake have been deposited as an offering. They were arranged on a giant wall, and only this years barrels are present. This was the largest offering spot we saw on our trip, showing the importance of Meji in the hearts of Japan.
