Silverback

I went to the zoo today for my day off. I took so many great pictures that would have made excellent photos of the day, but this one really took the cake. This Silverback Gorilla was in a small cave like enclosure with natural light coming from one side and a heat lamp warmly illuminating from behind which gave a fantastic studio-esque lighting. Then the gorilla was checking all the humans out as they watched her. I got this picture as she looked at me with my weird camera and it just created such an evocative photo.
